Backup issue with Arcserve2K & Exchange Option

Hi all,
I'm running Arcserve 2000 on a windows 2000 server.
My exchange server is exchange 2000 and it has the arcserve client
installed as well as the exchange option.
I'm having a problem with Arcserve failing on backing up mailboxes for
users that were deleted.
I get the error E8604 Failed to start backup ...... EC= Exch Exchange
Agent (420) failed to open information store.
I already solved one problem where I had this error for all of the
mailboxes at the brick level. I caused the problem by hiding the exchange
admin acct from the address list.
Is my current problem because I have to wait for the tombstone on the
mailboxes to expire?
Anyone seen this before?
