STS. TARKMANCHATZ ARMENIAN SCHOOL OF JERUSALEM

Elementary and Secondary School Teacher Positions

Sts. Tarkmanchatz is an Armenian School, located in the Armenian
Quarter of the Old City, Jerusalem.  All academic subjects are taught
in English, and students are prepared for the British GCE Exam. The
school maintains high academic standards and multi-language learning
environment, and maintains small class sizes and personal attention to
students.

We are seeking the following teachers:

- Chemistry, 8 hours, 9th and 10th grade students. Candidate should
have a minimum B.A. degree in Chemistry or Science equivalent, English
at native or high proficiency level and teaching experience.

- Biology, 10 hours, grades 9-11. Candidate should have a minimum B.A.
degree in Biology or Science equivalent, English at native or high
proficiency level and teaching experience.

- Hebrew language teacher, Elementary grades 1-5. Candidate should
have a degree in teaching Hebrew or equivalent; English or Arabic at a
moderate proficiency level; and as well as teaching experience with
younger children.

- Computer teacher, Windows, Word and Internet basics, Web projects
including building web sites, web publishing. Grades 4-11. Candidates
should have experience teaching children in groups and speak English
or Arabic.
