Dear English Teachers,
I would like to take advantage of this public platform to thank all
those people (teachers as well as non-teachers) who gave of their time
to record the short stories and poems for the new site for the
national program. The editing work will still take some time - the aim
is to have the audio recordings, (which were done by lots of
different, helpful volunteers) as well as the texts - which will be
highlighted as the readers proceed to read the texts. This will be a
great boon for ALL of our students - those who have learning
disabilities as well as those without - who are using the pieces from
the national program. We hope teachers will be able to make good use
of this, as well, by playing the recordings of the stories and poems
as part of their teaching program.
So - a BIG thanks to:
