Dear ETNI-ers

I've had a very busy summer and am now going through the posts from the last
two months. Thanks for the British Council mentions in your messages about
the summer ETAI conference.
I particularly liked Ellen's comment below:

"I heard today that there are over 14000 English teachers in Israel. Less
than 500 were at the conference. You don't know what you are missing."
I think those of us who are among that 500 have a task cut out for us: try
and bring the other 13500 to ETAI and show them how it can benefit their
professional development.

I am also happy that the Pre-Conference Event (PCE) organised by the British
Council provoked a debate about smart phones in the classroom. Gavin
Dudeney, who was the guest speaker at the PCE and the main conference, will
be giving an online course in digital literacies on the SEETA website:
http://www.seeta.eu/ <http://www.seeta.eu/>  . As an ETAI member you can
take part in SEETA courses FOR FREE.
