Subject: speech programs

First of all I want to thank Rachelle, Ruth , Patricia and Lisa for their
response to my request.

In case their suggestions didn't appear on the list, I have been asked to
share their answers.

Their suggestions:

Text to Speech created for the blind, and for which one has to pay.

naturalreader.com or NaturalReader.com which I undersatand in free

www.readplease also free

May I also suggest a new programme which has just come on the market and is
now offering a free trial. the programme is Ginger. It corrects not only
spelling mistakes but also grammatical ones. For example, a student of mine
wrote " I hope you're brocken toe hills soon." It was corrected to " I hope
your broken toe heals soon." This is a boon, both to native speaker
dislextics, as well as non native speakers who need to write correctly.
