 Here's a technical question.

 I know how to make a short cut key appear on the screen with the icons
(Windows 98, thank you.)

 So I made a such a short cut to a directory, on the D drive, that i use
every day.  What i soon discovered is that Windows actually copied the
whole directory into 'c' and ignores any changes I make in the original
file on D.

 So what am i shortcutting?  How do i make an icon that will go to the
file in D ?
