-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: winter Bagrut marking To: ask@xxxxxxxx In response to Judy's query and for all those thinking of marking Winter Bagrut: Markers who are NOT on shabaton receive one mana per week. Manot vary as to module but are generally the same as in summer. The period of marking lasts approximately one month to five weeks depending on the number of tests and markers in each module. Stress depends on the marker's other commitments in schools etc. Marking is always somewhat stressful because of the amount of concentration required and the time factor. however, many markers prefer winter bec. of the one mana a week schedule. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing you all, Judy A Judyv wrote: >Greetings to fellow Bagrut markers! I have marked Bagrut (5 points) for the last three years - but only in the summer. I am debating whether to mark in the winter this year - does anyone know how many weeks it takes to mark winter and how many tests there are in each "mana"? Is winter marking as intensive and stressful as summer? I would be grateful if anyone could let me know what their experience of winter marking is. ----------------------------------------------- Issue #2 of The Rag is now online!!! http://www.etni.org/etnirag/ Add yourself / Update your entry to "Who's Who on Etni" http://www.boker.org.il/etni/whoswho.htm -----------------------------------------------
