INVITROM, originally the "Dutch-Belgian Society for In Vitro Methods", has changed its name into the "International Society for In Vitro Methods" (INVITROM). The new name better reflects the membership of the society with currently members from 11 different countries. INVITROM promotes the development, the application and the acceptance of in vitro models in biomedical research. As such, the society has organized 11 meetings on different subjects related to in vitro methods. Next meeting will take place in October, 2013. INVITROM is an affiliated society of ESTIV.
