Thank you=2C John=2C for the advice=2E Deleting the ctr- and usr-files did =

the trick=2E Tracking during lock off seems to work when using direct
keypad entry from the NRD535=2C but not from the spinning wheel=2E This
is also the case with the frequency display in the receiver- window=2E
Perhaps the computer is busy with some calculations as returning back
to lock on also seems to be impossible=2E The only way to overcome this
situation is to close the program=2C which happens without warning
messages=2E Deleting the usr- and ctr- files didn't solve the =22more
than 1 MHz=22- problem I mentioned before=2E

Cheers for now ! Jouni

=3E =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
=3E I forgot to mention that with the new features=2C you need to delete
your
=3E existing CTR and USR files for the receivers=2E They will then be
recreated
=3E and the new features will be there=2E You can do this either of two
ways=2E
=3E
=3E (1) Manual=2E  With E4 off=2C open the =3Cprogram folder=3E=5CUSER fold=
er=2E
Erase any
=3E file *=2ECTR and *=2EUSR=2E The prefix of these files will be there
receiver
=3E name=2E
=3E
=3E (2) Automatic=2E Without any receivers running=2C go to the Beta page =

in the E4
=3E properties=2E  Press the Reset button=2E
=3E
=3E E4 always recreates these files the next time you run the program=2E
(The CTR
=3E file needs to be recreated when new features are added=2C as is the
case
=3E here=2E)  Sorry about that=2C I should have been explicit=2E
=3E
=3E GUY ATKINS
=3E =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
=3E Yes=2C each receiver must have a unique name=2E (This means you can
also run
=3E two versions of the SAME receiver=2C as long as you give them a
unique name=2E)
=3E And=2C yes=2C to run two receivers at once you must have two serial
ports=2E  Some
=3E laptop users get around this by using a USB-Serial convertor which
breaks
=3E out to multiple Serial ports using only one USB connection=2E (I
know the
=3E multiple port situation is rare for laptop users=2E Many of the
newer IBM
=3E machines do not even have one serial port!)
=3E
=3E Absolutely=2C both receivers can be active at once=2E You can have
each one
=3E linked to a different database if you want to=2E However=2C you can
only
=3E control one receiver at a time from a particular database=2C although
you can
=3E switch between either=2E Also=2C only one receiver will accept
keystrokes for
=3E frequency entry=2C etc=2E=2C at one time=2E  You select which receiver =

is =22active=22
=3E by clicking on the red LED in to top left corner of the big window=2C
or the
=3E vertical receiver name in on the left side of the small toolbar
receiver
=3E window=2E
=3E
=3E SHORTCUTS
=3E =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
=3E I have figured out how to make the shortcut keys for entirely user
=3E definable=2C and will be adding this to the properties box shortly=2E =

That way=2C
=3E you can customize your shortcuts / hotkeys=2C exactly the way you
want them=2E
=3E (There will be some limitations=2E Certain keys will be reserved for
direct
=3E frequency entry=2C F1 for help=2C and certain other keys for navigating=

within
=3E the database=2E Otherwise=2C they will all be under your control=2E

=3E =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D
=3E Focusing right now on receiver control=2C finalizing the current
drivers=2C and
=3E will add Profiling and Reporting=2E The next receiver I add will
likely be
=3E the RX350=2E
