The NC Wildlife Resources Commission will be leading a bird walk at Green
River Game Lands on Monday, January 23rd. We will be exploring the Walcott
Tract on the Green Rive Cove Road side of the game lands. NCWRC is
continuing these public bird walks in hopes of interesting more birders in
birding on game lands. We are also working on creating a 4-season bird
checklist for Green River so the more folks we can get down there birding
the better! Please use eBird!
We will meet at the Marathon gas station off the Saluda Exit of I-26 at 8
a.m. (turn right off exit ramp of I-26 E. gas station on right). Please
