Hey all,
Five hardy souls braved the 23 degree start temperature to see what we could
find at Jackson Park this morning. We had a great time! The walk started
slow, but soon turned out awesome! We had great looks at Rusty Blackbird, all
six expected woodpeckers, White-breasted Nuthatch, and Red-shouldered Hawk. The
highlight of the morning came as we watched two Sandhill Cranes flyover the
Southwest part of the park heading West.
We had 29 species in total.
A full list of species is as follows:
Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 17
