I have a picture of what I found in the manual. At least in the 1984 book the pressure switch shows normally open. So.... if the switch is grounding it randomly (or when the pressure is down in 2nd and 3rd), then that could be a source of my problem. But it wouldn explain how it could get 12V to pin A when the controller doesn't show green.
