If I could get a decent price for my 84 I could buy the 70 and if in decent shape could make it decent looking etc and drop in a late truck engine and make it a daily driver. Gas mileage wouldn't really be any worse than a newer truck and possibly better due to less air to push. One "obscure" reason though ... the Caprice Classic nameplate has NEVER been on front wheel drive...and I like that. ;) LOL
