                       Well. There is a 70 elky in town for sale. Looked at
it through the fence. Can see there is no engine and trans. Looks Ok. White
some rust on the 1/4s etc from chipped paint. Price is Ok but I haven't
really seen it.. Was toying with the idea... If I could get a decent price
for my 84 I could buy the 70 and if in decent shape could make it decent
looking etc and drop in a late truck engine and make it a daily driver. Gas
mileage wouldn't really be any worse than a newer truck and possibly better
due to less air to push.

Mary ... So, how'd you celebrate the Blazer's birthday?  As for the Caprices
... you pretty much nailed my reasons.  One "obscure" reason though ... the
Caprice Classic nameplate has NEVER been on front wheel drive...and I like
that. ;)  LOL
