I was rather unsure about the book. It was very well written *and well scanned*, but there was something rather unsatisfactory about a fictional account of a story I remembered quite well. I think the Clough myth has become so strong that the real thing is always more entertaining than the stories. I have not seen the film, but, from the extracts, he does not sound much like Brian. -----Original Message----- From: electrobooks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:electrobooks-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Shell Sent: 04 April 2009 20:58 To: electrobooks@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [electrobooks] damned United. Thanks Ian, I will look into this one, there has been a lot on the radio about the film recently.
