Thought I'd be nosy and ask what everyone is reading?
I'm half way through my first John D Macdonald book, a Purple Place For Dying. He's
quite an old author, and I didn't think I was going to like the book, having read some bad
reviews of his old fashioned style of writing, but I'm really quite enjoying it. i can see
why certain parts might be offensive, but they really are quite amusing and the mystery is
solid.
