Ok, so the majority has decided for close to Riga area for retreat.
Dimitri, when you are available please upload then clean up file under this
decision.
Going forward, do we leave the rule as it is written or we switch to "valid
supply depot" in order to avoid misunderstandings?

Info available at the start of this turn was RaW
RaW says that the retreating XXX
1. must move closer
2. to the nearest friendly depot
3. that can be entered and stayed in (open area)

Dimitris I agree with you on point 1. However, as I have already written it is
different how we want to play this rule and different how it is written.
If we want to vote on how we want to play this going forward I would also vote
for only valid supply depots.
However, currently, Prussia made its moves under what the rules describe. Since
no one until today challenged this rule, it would be fair for me to interpret
the rule as it is written and play this turn under the information available at
the beginning of our turn.
Pleas someone confirm my understanding???

Subject: [eiagreek] several issues
1. on the retreat issue I have already made clear my point that a XXX must
retreat towards a depot that can supply it and is in an area that can be
entered and stayed in by the retreating XXX
2. the revisions to the rules I sent were not meant to be used in this game
3. to speed up the game
if the board wants to throw Russia out of the game and give Prussia lots of
PPs, have her in a Dominant position, controlling a compact area that can use
interior lines and having the use of the forces of five minor countries
(Hanover, Hesse, Saxony, Denmark and Poland) minimum, then the board can do it
but will have to fight for it. I know my chances of defending against four (or
more) nations are non-existent at best, but I simply cannot willingly put
myself in a second rate power place; you will have to force me to unconditional
surrender
please don't bother to comment on this, it won't change my decision
