Thanks Wim got it to work.
I also found a way to only see the "actual open issues" which
correspondent with the github query <is:issue is:open -label:"status:
fixed in nightly"> (notice the - before label)
Create a query called "open fixed in nightly" select open issues
with the flag "fixed in nightly"
Now tasks will also show the unmatched which is the actual open list.

PS There is still lots of work on the query making capabilities (FI
and/or of labels). I just don't understand why pass through query is so
hard to implement.

Search for "github" after selecting Mars update site: it will prompt you with one plugin only. If the selection is empty than you already have it installed and you only need to add the task repository into mylyn

Which connector do you use to get Mylyn integrated with
Github? I wasn't able to find it....
I found an answer to the above question, it's in the standard
Mars update repository and it just needs to be installed, or you
can just install the GitFlow support and it gets brought in with
that.
I'm starting to love it already :-D
