About the splash... I'm afraid an Eclipse scene with that spacey look and
bloom and what not is well outside my skill level, so I will probably look
bad. I can still try, but I'm pretty sure it will suck. :)

So here's an idea I cooked as an alternative.

We might want to add a "Eclipse is a trademark of..." and "Arduino is a
trademark of..." in a small footer I'm sure.

The arduino community logo can only be modified in the custom area as you
can see https://www.arduino.cc/en/Trademark/CommunityLogo

it states:
Customization We designed the logo to allow the personalization of the
lower-right part in order to provide a free space to add the name of your
group or organization ...

Was talking to Jan today and he suggested that I send this here.

I was bored to death... so I drew some ideas, I'm attaching a PNG.

Anything can be changed of course, if you want me to try to make something
thicker or rotate it or change it, just say so.
