Yes we did, about 9 years ago – because his son did our house renovations

However, while we would wholeheartedly recommend Pete (his son) we were
not impressed with the floors – a number of the new pine floors we had laid
upstairs have bits of wood that have splintered. This could, of course, be
down to us using office chairs with wheels on (!) but colouring wasn’t
great either. Not sure if because we didn’t set out our spec. clearly
enough but overall not very impressed.
