Hi In Formats, rule 5, it says: "(2) Nonalphabetical signs with no braille equivalents. Substitute the names for print signs that do not have braille equivalents, such as copyright for © and trademark for TM." I have the trademark symbol occurring quite frequently in one particular section of the manual I'm doing. Do I have to put the word trademark in every time? Before I knew what the symbol was, dbt interpreted the trademark symbol as a kind of asterisk or dagger shape. Is it acceptable to put this symbol on my special symbols page or do I have to write the word trademark every time? Also, what happens in british braille when the trademark symbol is encountered? Thanks. Teri * * * * This message is via list duxuser at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxuser-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
