Just as a matter of curiosity, what does 2nds mean in your document?

Subject: [duxuser] suppressing letter signs

Hi all

I'm encountering a problem where dbt is producing a letter sign which
looks odd and unnecessary to me. When I translate the ordinal number
2nd, dbt correctly does not put a letter sign before the n.
When I write 2nds dBT puts a letter sign before the n. It may be correct
in BANA rules, but it looks really silly to me. The argument may be that
2nds is not gramatically correct, but it is a common usage in musical
circles i.e. major and minor 2nds. We are using the number over the word
deliberately.
Is there a way of suppressing the letter sign here? Is this fixed in
10.5?
I'm still using 10.4, as I haven't purchased 10.5 yet due to
circumstances but will do asap).
Many thanks.

LIsette
