The problem is I'm not using six keys so I can't do the hyphen that way. I need
a print keyboard approach or in codes something that says hyphen. I only see
codes for dash and long dash.

Hi Barb,
Yes a hyphen is dots 3,6. A dash is dots6 and then 3,6.
Best of luck,

Subject: [duxuser] dash vs hyphen
I am transcribing from print into braille with an older version of
Duxbury 12.2 SR1. I am having trouble with the codes for a dash and a
hyphen. I think I can use the regular keyboard for the dash. I don't
know how to do the hyphen. I looked in the code list but I don't see
it listed.
I hope you can clear it up for me. When I back translate to see the
braille I see dots 3 and 6 together which I think represents the
hyphen.
