What is your suggestion as to how to learn the codes? I have a very hard time deciphering them as it is and would like to learn more about them. Can you tell me how best to learn them. This is how I do things when working on Braille documents such as our Center's newsletter and other things. It is not as difficult as it might seem to do this. What one has to do in my opinion and experience is to familiarize himself or herself with the various codes that DBT uses to translate the print format document into Braille. I feel it's good practice to get familiar with these anyway since while the various styles do a pretty good job, one has more ability to customize the output if they know the codes. Just my $.02 worth.
