Swift is a add on and I don’t know how well it works with NVDA as I’m a JAWS
user using Duxbury with a refreshable braille display.

So, does it work equally well with NVDA?

Yes, Swift is a free download and it can be found on the Duxbury website. The
easiest way to get to the page where it is located is to open your copy of
Duxbury, Pull down the Help Menu, Check for Update and it will open to the page
with your default web browser.

Hi,
Is Swift a JAWS only add-on?
I’m using NVDA.
If I can use it with NVDA where do I get it from?

Hello
Do you use the swift add on for word? If not I’d suggest adding it. Then you
have a couple of options I’m familiar with, both require you to be on the
braille tab while in word
1) look across the top and find the box with a TN in it, click on that and it
starts the note, when done go back to the same box and click the red x
Or
2) again across the top find where it says DBT codes, scroll way down the list,
find transcribers note open code, choose it, make your more amd return to the
list. Find the TN close code.
SWIFT has a pretty good user manual on the Duxbury website

Hi All,
Is there any symbol I can add into a word document that when the word document
is imported into Duxbury will translate as the 3 cell transcriber brackets?
