First, search for all instances of the period with the paragraph, replacing them with a string of characters than cannot possibly occur in the document, such as qwertyu or even a colorful word of your own invention. Then replace all other paragraphs with a space. Then replace all double spaces with single spaces. Finally, replace your temporary string with a paragraph. Should take about a minute. The paper was then sent to me in the message box of an e-mail and the contents of the paper were saved as a Word document. I need to delete the paragraph markers which appear between two words but leave those paragraph markers which occur after a period. With a short document I can do this by using the control and cursor keys and delete the unwanted symbol. This document, however, will probably take up about 120 Braille pages and I would like some suggestions as to how I can leave paragraph markers after a period (full stop) but delete those between words where no period exists. Please, may I have suggestions on how to use the find and replace commands to fix both problems. I would appreciate any help. Francis Khan
