Taryn,

You can either "Save as text" in Adobe, or you can scan the file. We use Abby
Fine Reader here for scanning.

This is only my second year as a Braillist and I have a question. A lot of the
digital copies of books I get from teachers to Braille for kids are in "Adobe"
format, and I cannot just copy and paste. I was wondering how I can put this
into Word or Duxbury to translate? Is there a way to do this? I feel kind of
stupid for asking this question, but I was curious if I am missing something.
Should I contact Adobe?

Thank you,
Taryn
