Hello, Steve.

You could go to "other importer" in the global menu and select one of the two
conversion programs. I'm sure that they must support RTF. Of course, you must
install the conversion program. They do not come bundled with DBT.

Occasionally, someone sends me a .rtf (rich text format) file which I want
to import into DBT. If I try to import it directly, DBT treats it as a
"Windows formatted text file", and the result is garbage. If I try to use
the Word filter, I get an error.

My work-around is to open the file in Word and save it as a text file. I
suppose I could also save it as a Word document, but I wish there was a way
to skip this intermediate step altogether. Any ideas?

Steve
