You can enter grade 3 braille, but you won't be able to translate it into
text. And you can't translate a text document into grade 3 braille. DBT
doesn't have any grade 3 braille tables. If you are using a braille
display, you can read your grade 3 braille. But if you are using sight or
speech, it will be unreadable.

Subject: [duxuser] Grade 3 Braille with DBT?

: Hi, folks. Has anybody ever tried entering Grade 3 braille in 6-key mode
with DBT? For those not familiar with English Grade 3 braille, in addition
to the dot-5 that Grade 2 uses, in Grade 3, a letter or a sign can be
preceeded by dot-4, dots-4,5, or dots-4,5,6 to make a word. Would one of
these key sequences generate an unwanted command in DBT, or can they be
entered safely?
: Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
