Reply to: RE: [duxuser] Re: Dux and mac I've had DBT/Mac installed on my Mac for quite a few years and comparing it with the latest upgrade for DBT/Win is like comparing a Model T Ford with a Thunderbird, with DBT/Win being a far superior product. You will just have to work harder at formatting, etc., with DBT/Mac than you would have to with DBT/Win, plus--don't expect any upgrades to the software. If you are really computer savvy, you may be able to write your own styles. That's the answer to efficient braille textbook production when using DBT--Mac or Win. Sadly, if all you have is a Mac, you are caught between a rock and hard place, with DBT/Mac being the only braille translation software available for the Macintosh.
