Lissa, Thanks for the tip about when this is happening. I believe that you found something that Bob found using an automated fast typing simulator. We found it before beta 3, but postponed fixing it until at least beta 4 -- possibly beta 5. We simply didn't think that real typists were fast enough to hit it. So you've proven us wrong. I'll bump the priority up to try to get the fix for beta 4. - Peter -----Original Message----- From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Melissa Hirshson Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 1:46 PM To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxhelp] more crashing Hiya, I just transcribed a 14-page document that crashed 4 times. In this case, I was able to force quit using ctrl-alt-delete, instead of restarting. The crashing seemed to take place when I typed a lot of fast keystrokes at once, for example two tab characters to indent a closing for a letter for several lines in a row. This was all in the translated braille document. (Yes, I know I should have formatted them first in the print document, but sometimes I get lazy. :) ) Thanks.
