I agree with Rick, we, the UsA and the rest of the world's democracies have a
responsibility to help the Ukraine in every way we can. That is also very much
in our own interest.
If helping the Ukraine kill Russian generals, and bragging about that strikes
some fear in the hearts of other Russians, as it should, it is the right thing
to do.
Reasoning with Putin is futile, the only way to stop him is to kill off all the
soldiers he sends to the Ukraine.

[CAUTION: Non-UBC Email]
Not just the United States, but the world, including NATO and the United
Nations, should be supporting Ukraine against this violent bully. The trouble
between Russia and the Ukraine may have started in 2014 with the unhindered
annexation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia, but the lack of a world response
back then has led to this present conflict.
I do not think that the United States is overtly bragging, but they are only
providing early enough information of Russia's plans and intentions with
accurate intelligence. This early intelligence has enabled Ukraine to move its
air fleet and armed forces before Russian bombing attempts. Not having this
intelligence would have meant even greater loss of Ukrainian lives and loss of
its ability to defend itself. All of Ukraine's military actions have been
defending itself on its own land and not on Russian land.
The typical behavior of a bully is habitual, repetitive, and aggressively
escalating actions; and Russia will not stop with Ukraine. The conflict will
only end by standing up to Russia and letting them know that the USA and world
will help Ukraine with arms and intelligence help
Rick

Hi Guys
In the past year, on this group email, we've had a lot of great pictures and
jokes but very little significant conversation .
In the little bit of conversations we have had I see we have a very politically
diverse group.
With that in mind I toss out a topic that will give all sides an opportunity
to comment on.
Please be civil. Your strong opinion may not be totally correct. Treat each
other with respect.
Should the US publicly brag about killing Russian leaders in the Ukrainian
conflict?
My thought is that this is poking a stick at the bear ( pun intended) This is
baiting Russia to do a direct retaliation against the US which means WAR.
I look forward to your thoughts.
