When I first began with the EZ Boot, one of the things I did to alleviate the
coronet ban friction was to flatten the top prong on the inside. It hit
right at the coronet or coronary band( which is it?). See if that's not
what's
causing yours. Of course, if the boot itself is too big, that's another
issue.
Maybe you could start a "petition" among mini owners and send it to all the
boot makers. They may not be aware of the growing number of driving minis.
Driving minis is the new trend. Isn't driving the only "sport" a person can
do with them?
I used EZ boots with a mini I owned and also had problems with top rubbing on
the coronary band, I took the pads that farriers use and cut them to fit the
inside of the boot this bought the hoof inside the boot up enough to stop this
problem.
