One of the places that I didn't make it to in my search, was to Master Sterling's stable, for a look at what he had. But, I doubt that Sterling has seen the last of me!!! VBG!!! As to my horse's name, "Sterling", I had just thought that it was utter serendipity that one of my new horses should have this name!!!! As I looked over my new horses' registration papers in a large parking lot in Sacramento, at almost midnight, I was greatly amused to see that "Sterling's" REAL name was "Battersea Sterling"!!!! I just tell my new "Sterling" that he has a lot to live up to, given his name!!!! LOL!!!! (However, looking closer at the papers.........) The other gelding is "ICU Jual's Caesar", "John" for short. Hardy, you are so right on with the comment about worrying too much!!! After reading the post of the pair personalities, I KNOW that I am worrying WAY too much!!! These boys have been living in a tie stall together. They travelled out from Iowa in the last slot of a slant load trailer. I will be able to do turnouts with them together. I will do more "thinks" and quit with the "worries". Ages........John is 4, and Sterling is 2. Sterling has started this year, but with just light work, not the heavier work that John has been doing. I want to keep the working light with him, and increase the work as he gets older. They are both used to driving single, as well as in a pair together. They have been worked steady....I want to keep Sterling's condition, and to continue with his education through light work as a single and as a pair. My Pacific Dartmoor will be for the single work.....light in weight, and rolls like a dream!! The Warco for the pair work. Any other thoughts for the 2 year old? Harness fits great, except for the WAY oversized breeching and the WAY oversized backstrap!!!! Carole Sweet nextpairout@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Modesto, CA Why Wait?
