The name Pairs and Teams depend on your background and use of horses. For
example in the intermountain area (Idaho) if you refer to a pair most people
who have drove horses all thier life would not know what you are talking
about. The people who use the term pairs are the ones who show in shows
such as Welsh and ect. But the other people will tell you they drive a
team. I am 70 years old and my normal point of reference is to call them a
team, only when I catch myself do I ever call them a pair,

Larry.

cringe a little when people refer to my pair as a team. I've even caught
myself using the word "team" when I'm speaking to a non driver. If I tell
nondrivers I drive a pair, they give me a blank look. >>Thanks for the in
