Hay is a little high right now. Bermuda is $8.50 a bale for a 110lb bale.
Alfalfa is $7.50 for a 100lb bale. We've actually have had enough cold
mornings this winter to do a number on the bugs. We have an epidemic of
houses being built in our nice hay fields we can't seem to stop. It's all
you cold folks moving here. You can drive 350 days a year. But I'll have
to say last summer I had to wonder, "Why do I live here?????" It was over
100 degrees into the 3rd week in October!!! Too hot for bugs.
