I am on a hackney list.. and an older gentleman there, very proud of his breed... made fun of my shetland stallion ( blue roan....mini size.. ) and asked why I posted pictures of my gray rat on the list there.. The initial gentleman in question was affronted I had the audicity to post non hackney pics.. ( has become a friendly moniker now.. ) We now have a stuffed rat for a show mascot, at ASPC/AMHR showes ..and routinely steal another groups mascot and hold it ransom.. ( pink flamingos.. ) has become a tradition.. we earned chesse and choclate for our last ransom.. Keeps students interested,and tends to make stressfull shows more fun..
