The script is simple enough ... also noticed that .htaccess is also
lying around with a .dist extension, but you intend it to be rewritten
unlike the other .dist files.

Would be useful to make conf/dokuwiki.php read-only, just as a
reminder for the users to put their settings in local.php ...
