[dokuwiki] starting in a namespace

I have another question regarding the home-page.

Is it possible to start in a certain namespace right from the beginning? 

Now, when I access www.domain.tld, it opens the root with page "start". What I 
want is, that it opens namespace:start.

I tried to set namespace:start as the starting-page in the config, but that 
interferes with the other namespaces. 

How can this be done? The solution I have now makes use of Redirect to 

http://www.domain.tld/doku.php?namespace:start

in .htaccess, but I don't like that.

Anybody who can help?
