I have been authoring a book in dokuwiki
and this will be VERY helpful for generating
the .epub version.

Does epub handle javascipt post-processing
and rendering functionnality?
I am asking because my book has lots of math,
and I use MathJax to typeset the math:

2/ iBooks ?
Are you familiar with the iBooks modifications
that they made for EPUB. I think they just
included some JS interactivity stuff.
It would be an interesting idea to be able to
export a dokuwiki and sell it on the iBooks store.
