Hi, I've been hacking with deploying DokuWiki within my development team since we're looking for something light-weight and flat-file based. Unfortunately I've run into snags in a few needed areas and hoped people on the list might be able to offer some advice. #1 is that we'd like to be able to write docs for both the developers and users within one wiki, and not let the users even see the developer docs. In an ideal world we could ACL's setup in such a way that we could maintain the same namespace structure (we have multiple apps with similar doc layouts and would just like one FAQ doc within that app's docs) You'd just have two very different "views" of the app's namespaces depending on if you're logged in or not. I've been playing around with setting more restrictive ACL's for default pages, but this just gives a "you can't view this page" when I'm looking for a 'default' page. How hard would a change like this be? Is anyone actively working on a user manager? It seems like high priority but I don't see any changes in the latest devel versions -- just don't want to duplicate someone else's code. Additionally, I hacked on ChrisS's sidebar "navigate" pages for a better wiki-wide TOC and it doesn't seem to respect ACL's, but I think this might just be a simple code change within the sidebar. Any help or pointers would be much appreciated, Jamie -- DokuWiki mailing list - more info at http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:mailinglist
