[dokuwiki] Search in HTML (generated from word/powerpoint)

The last post from Andi where he added some event to allow enhancement
of the searchtext plugin http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:searchtext made
me remember a feature wish for our wiki which I am having for some time.
After seeing that there is a plugin that searches in plain text I was
wondering if the same could be done in html. The reason is that our wiki
contains a lot of pdf, word and powerpoint document which we created for
reports and presentations. It would be great if one could search inside
these documents like it is possible in googles html cache of such
documents. There are converters available for converting these source
dokuments to html. It should be possible to convert uploaded document to
html automatically and add them to the search index. Has anyone ever
done something like this with dokuwiki?
If not, see it as a feature request ;-)
