Wouldn't this need be better served by conversion into Dokuwiki's format? It seems to me that many Dokuwiki features wouldn't work smoothly--what about templates, editing, search/highlight, metadata, plugins, etc.? If all you need is to "reference" static pages, as non-wiki documents, then perhaps a plugin would work better? Todd Augsburger todd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Roller Organs www.rollerorgans.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricky J. Sethi" <subs@xxxxxxxxx> I basically had a lot of legacy documents in .[ix]html format and, rather than try to edit/convert them to .txt dokuwiki format, this little hack allows you to include them directly in your (doku)wiki. The advantage is that you can use old (and new) html pages directly, as is without any modification (so they're automatically listed in the index, etc.). I've found it tremendously useful and beneficial for various sites I've deployed the dokuwiki solution upon and would love to see it included in the main branch, both to avoid having to keep hacking it in new releases and, of course, in the hopes that others will find this feature useful, as well. Please do let me know if I can offer any further clarification, Rick. -- DokuWiki mailing list - more info at http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:mailinglist
