That's the error you will get if you have something other than the Microsoft Synth as your synthesizer(Kernel Synth maybe? ie "Sound CardX Audio"). You might want to check your midi options and make sure the MS Synth is selected. If you have something beside the MS Synth selected, I would expect you would have a lot of other problems too... On the other hand I have seen waves get corrupted by DMP before, but the error message I got was much different I think. Copying a backup version into the project folder always fixed it for me in that situation. -Scott Morgan This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -----Original Message----- From: directmusic-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:directmusic-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jason Booth Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 1:43 PM To: directmusic@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [directmusic] Errors re-loading project with wav tracks I've been getting an error on a wav track and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this. Basically, when I load my project I get this error, but when I import the wav from the original file, it works fine. Whenever the project is re-loaded, it will say: Unable to find a port in the current configuration that supports DLS. DLS instruments will be unavailable for playback.. However, I'm loading a wav track, which has previously been loaded into DMP successfully before. Any ideas?=3D20
