Dear All, I am pleased to tell you that we successfully conducted a Focal point Training on DAISY Digital Talking Book production under the DFA project at Islamabad, pakistan from 25th September to 29th September 2006. A total of 16 participants from 9 organisations attended the program. The list of participants is attached. Dear Pakistan members, you are now part of this mailing list which has been created to facilitate communication between all the countries implementing DAISY standards in the South Asian region. Organisations and individuals from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia & Phillipines are already a part of this mailing list. You can ask your questions regarding DAISY production and also share your experiences. All the trainers who have conducted trainings in these countries are also a part of this list including International Training Co-ordinator ms. Miki Azuma. I am the moderator of this list.
