Please join us on Wednesday, January 12th at 10 am on WOL 1450 AM for
MHCDO's Radio Show, Be Informed. John Falcicchio, Deputy Mayor for
Planning and Economic Development will be interviewed. Mr. Falcicchio will
provide an update of the District’s Real Estate Projects, especially those
in Wards 7 & 8.
Also, you will from Benjamin Wiseman, Director of the Office of Consumer
Protection in the Office of the Attorney General for DC. Mr. Wiseman will
discuss ways to avoid some of the problems consumers face such as:
aggressive telemarketing scams, online privacy and identity theft, home
improvement abuse, healthcare fraud, car purchases, investment scams,
senior financial exploitation, money transfer scams, and any other helpful
tips. We also would like to hear how the Office of Consumer Protection
helps those who have fallen victim to scams. DON’T MISS IT!
