I heard -- completely unexpectedly -- from Charles Olson, MD, who was a very
early member of Putnam's original group, long before I started attending, and
who has apparently remained on our list. Here's his input on the question of
stating our pedigree:
Being almost a founding member of Putmans group after having him consult on my
first MPD (notice I still prefer that designation) patient, I have always been
more than grateful and honouring of your all carrying on the traditions of that
group!!!!!! Even though though I have not attended, I track your emails every
month and know that if I was ever in trouble with some MPD problem I would have
you as a Resourse if needed. It has been most reassuring to me to have you all
extant and there. You should have no second thoughts about being part of a
truly pioneering tradition!! Please send me a copy of your final draft of
whatever it is you are utting together. Cheers and Good Luck with what you are
doing. I am tracking you every month and don't take me off your list. Charlie
So that reinforces the consensus from Friday.
See you all next month.
