Well I tried the grase note thing and it did not work at all. I like my notes held down and I could not figure out the note directins of that short of a note but you want it to be held down. I can play an example on my real piano at home if you want so you can hear what i mean. SA&G : Sarah, : : Not entirely sure, but first if you are doing an arpeggio (broken : chord) you could divide the duration by the number of notes and : assign that note value to each step in the chord. Then add a slur : across the entire set of notes (left hand and right hand if you wish) : by assigning a line to the entire set of highlighted notes. : : I think slurs are in the lines dialog. Again I don't have my desktop : up and running now, so just taking a stab at it. : : Dave : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: Sarah : To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx : Sent: Monday, September 17, 2007 5:52 PM : Subject: [ddots-l] Re: roling piano cords : : : I'll look at that fter I broadcast. Can I incert a grace note after : I made the cords? I don't think I can and if i can't I'm going to : have to do this piece all over again! My sighted friend said there : was a way to do it with a brace or something. by the way, but I'm : not sure what she ment. : : SA&G :: If I understood your question correctly I would notate that cord with :: grais notes considering that you want to lend on the beat. :: There is a section about that in the sibelius speaking tutorial that :: I found very helpful. :: Caglar :: :: ----- Original Message ----- :: From: Sarah :: To: sonar and sib list :: Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 2:59 AM :: Subject: [ddots-l] roling piano cords :: :: :: Ok.
