Johnny.
First, from Waves version 7 onward, DirectX versions of the
plug-ins no longer exist. That's why those presets disappeared.
They are still there though. Get a copy of Hotspot Clicker
www.hotspotclicker.org
and read it's getting started document.
Load your Waves plug-in and have a sighted person find the load and
save buttons with the mouse, and create hot spots for them.
After that, all you will have to do is issue the keystroke you
assigned to the hot spots and you'll have your presets back.
