yep we actually came up with a solution: i had my guy modify the first channels
of the mixer to be post eq and the rest are pre eq since the mixer doesn't have
the option of post and pre eq for each individual channel.

  Hi Omar,

I was always told to record with flat EQ, that way you have all the
Frequencies to play with when mixing down.

    Hello,

I ahve a mackie mixer with only a pre eq option on the direct channels. i
can have it modified where the eqs will become only post for each channel.
there's no option to modify it to become both pre and post. is it preferable to
keep the outputs as pre or post eqs?

    Thanks.
