Yeah,

this is what I needed, didn't know those numbers, otherwise I had it.

I've always used a control service, but, I wanted to work on my lap top with
out one, so was having trouble.

Thanks,

Joey

  Joey,

On any track's pan field you can either
  1) use the small, medium, and large value change keys.
  2) press enter, then in the edit field, enter a value from 0 to 127 with 64
being center, 0 being 100% left, and 127 being 100% right. Then press enter
again to exit the edit field.

Press F1 whilst on the pan field, and jaws will tell you all about it. This
is fairly rudementary stuff- is this what you wanted to know, or am I missing
something in your post?

I don't see how you could use the arrow keys if you're using CT. They would
move you off the field-unless you meant to say the value change keys. Are you
using CakeTalking or the free scripts?

    Hi,

Maybe I am crazy, but today I swear that I heard JFW say for the first time
when I went to set my pan on an audio track to use the arrow keys or to type in
the value.

Now, I have tried to do this before with no luck and today was no different.

Is there a better way to set the pan with out a control service and with
out pressing the arrow key like 100 times?

I would love to just type in the value.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Joey
